A customer from the lighting industry contacted Pacific States Felt & MFG. Co., Inc. to assemble 50 silicone sponge housing gaskets. We bonded the gaskets’ joints using silicone at a temperature of 350° for a total of 45 seconds. Each of the extruded closed cell silicone sponge gaskets measured 37″ long and .560″ wide. After inspection, we shipped the 50 housing gaskets to the customer’s San Marcos, Texas location.
